RRCAA has the following job openings:

Private Music Instructors – beginning Aug. 26, 2024

RRCAA has private music instructor openings available for the following musical instruments:

Piano

Voice

Violin (stringed instruments)

Candidates should have experience teaching students with varying levels of experience ranging in age from youth through adult.  

Potential instructors should possess considerable training and experience with their respective discipline as well as two years of teaching experience.  Instructors are expected to provide students with high quality and sound technical training, and maintain clear and consistent communication with parents and with the RRCAA staff.

Instructors must pass local, state, and federal background check at their own expense. 

Most private music lessons are 30 minutes in length.

Dance Instructors – Beginning Sept. 7, 2024

Part-time dance (ballet, Hip Hop and/or Tap/Jazz) instructor positions are available at Rabbit Run Community Arts Association (RRCAA) in Madison, OH, beginning Sept. 7, 2024.

Position Overview:

RRCAA seeks motivated and experienced dance instructors to teach starting with our fall, 2024. Candidates should have experience teaching students with varying levels of experience ranging in age from young child through adult.

Dance classes are offered Monday through Thursday afternoons and evenings as well as Saturdays.  The ideal candidates will have the interest and drive to build on the existing program to create a class structure providing our students with exceptional technique and the opportunity to be continually challenged.

Education:

The position requires considerable dance training. Instructors are expected to provide students with high quality and sound technical training, possess effective class management skills, and maintain clear and consistent communication with parents and with RRCAA staff and instructors.

Skills and Experience:

  • Should have at least two years teaching experience
  • Must be able to communicate dance terminology and stress technique
  • Must be able to effectively discipline while maintaining an encouraging and supportive environment
  • Must possess excellent communication and collaborative skills
  • Must be able to work respectfully alongside other staff and instructors
  • Must be reliable, and able to maintain regular attendance to all assigned classes
  • Must be self-motivated and passionate about educating children in the art of dance
