New this summer to Rabbit Run’s Youth Camps is Adapted Art Adventures for youth ages 5 – 11 and ages 12 and up.
The activities in these workshops are designed to fit the needs of people with physical, sensory or developmental disabilities. Each participant in the ages 5 – 11 workshops must be accompanied by an adult.

Adapted youth will have a great time with Miss Marie as they create wonderful multi-media projects that are both useful and decorative. Participants may take one, two or all three workshops.
Saturday, June 21, 2025 – Bunny Art
10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Join us as we decorate individual Rabbit Run’s mascot, the bunny! Upon completion, the bunnies will then be displayed for a month throughout the grounds for the viewing pleasure of theater patrons. After that the bunnies can go to their new home with their respective creators.

Come use your imagination and create a unique design for your take home clap pot to plat a flower in and watch grow!
Saturday, August 16, 2025 – Homemade Bird Feeder
10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Let’s help feed our bird friends by making a bird feeder that they can enjoy! You can take it home and put it where you can learn about bird watching.

Saturday, June 21, 2025 – Muslin Material Banner
1:00 – 2:30 a.m.
These bright cheery muslin material banners are outlined in blue Elmer’s glue, then the student paints the banner. When dry the student rubs the glue off leaving a lovely white outline on their work. The work is finished by adding a natural stick from which to hang the art.
Saturday, July 19, 2025 – Tissue Paper Votive Tea Lights
1:00 – 2:30 a.m.
We will be making a tealight that can be displayed on your patio or inside your home. The candle is a battery operated votive light. Strips of tissue paper are used to cover plastic cups and sealed with Modge Podge. Campers can make multiple lights for themselves and others.
Saturday, August 16, 2025 – Birch Tree Wall hanging
1:00 – 2:30 a.m.
Campers will create a beautiful wall handing in a several-stepped process. Wood strips are taped to make trees and then the sky is painted. Upon drying the tape is removed exposing the trees upon which birch markings are added. The final step involves adding seasonal decorations to the trees and voila!
Camp fee: $10 per workshop
