And the Glory

December 10, 2021 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

After a brief hiatus in 2020, the Madison Chorale is once again presenting their annual Christmas concert.  Join the Chorale as they perform this year’s concert, entitled “And the Glory”.

A true holiday tradition, the Madison Chorale’s Christmas concert is an evening filled with good cheer and great music.

This year’s concert will be a collaborative effort with a special guest performer, organist Paulette Szuhay, who will accompany the Chorale as well as perform a number of solo selections.

Szuhay has studied music and organ from a young age and has served as a church organist in various area churches since 1999.  She received a fine arts degree with a major in music from Lake Erie College as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in music education from Kent State University.

The Chorale will sing a variety of holiday melodies ranging from sacred to traditional to popular.  And to add to the colorful tradition of the event, the Chorale performs dressed in Renaissance costume.

Under the direction of Beth Johnson and founder/director emeritus Betty Jean Green, the Madison Chorale is comprised of volunteer vocalists from Lake, Ashtabula and Geauga counties and has performed at private and public functions for over 35 years.
