Capital Campaign - Act Three: Rabbit Run Theater's Future

Your Support Ensures the Future.

For 80 years, generations have experienced the magic of Rabbit Run Theater–summer evenings at the barn, unforgettable performances, friendships formed backstage and memories shared with family and friends.

Our Capital Campaign is an investment in ensuring those experiences continue.  By preserving our historic theater while creating safer, more functional spaces for our patrons, performers and volunteers, we are preparing Rabbit Run for the generations still to come.

The next Act for Rabbit Run means caring for this historic theater we treasure while making the improvements necessary for it to serve future generations.

Phase One is now underway, bringing expanded restroom facilities, an enhanced concessions area, upgraded electrical infrastructure and improved performer spaces.

But our work is not finished . . .

Phase Two is a $2 million investment in the behind-the-scenes facilities and infrastructure essential to producing live theater safely and effectively–from dressing rooms and costume and prop storage to scenery contruction, storage and technology facilities.

Included in Phase Two are:

  • Dedicated prop storage
  • Dedicated scenery storage
  • A dedicated costume storage facility
  • Expanded men’s and women’s dressing rooms
  • A secure technology and equipment room
  • A dedicated scenery construction shop close to the backstage area
  • An improved ticket/tour group office
