Disney’s Newsies (Young Adult Production)

Follow the rousing tale of charismatic newsboy Jack Kelly as he and his fellow newsies rally to clash with New York City’s titans of publishing to fight for their rights. Set in the turn-of-the century and inspired by a true story, Newsies is packed with non-stop thrills, great dance numbers and a timeless message–perfect for the whole family and every audience.
Show dates: July 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18 (matinee & evening performance)
July 18 has a special family matinee at 2:00 p.m. as well as an evening performance at 7:30 p.m.
Music by Alan Menken. Lyrics by Jack Feldman. Book by Harvey Fierstein. Based on the Disney film written by Bob Tzudiker and Noni White. Actors performing in the show are ages 10 to 19.
Curtain time for all performance (except the July 18 matinee) is 7:30 p.m.; curtain time for the July 18 matinee is 2:00 p.m.
